Secretariat

The mission of the secretariat of the Flemish Foreign Affairs Council is to coordinate and support the conceptual work of the Council. The Secretariat organizes and prepares the meetings. In addition, the secretariat collects data and information on the four policy areas (foreign policy, international trade, development cooperation and tourism) at the Flemish, federal, European and international levels. Further tasks are the drafting of texts, reports, analyses and other documents for and about the work of the Council. Lastly, the Secretariat prepares draft advices, by including the integration of multiple views, perceptions, qualitative and quantitative data.
